Essense - Midnight Rocker

Here I have another combination of nail polish and holographic top coat, looks very cosmic, I believe.)
The polish is Essense "Midnight Rocker", dark blue creme, almost black. It's not bright like China Glaze's Calypso Blue, this one is less saturated, dusty and muted version of blue. That's why I like it a lot. Two coats are good and opaque. Sorry that I don't have the image of it without top coat, I'll add it later, because I think I'll definitely use it again.
The top coat is, again, Northern Lights by INM, can't remember if it's golden or silver.. They both look fabulous on dark polishes like this, like a night sky.

Maybelline 102

Today I'll show you a relly pretty nail polish by Maybelline.

It's dark red, almost black in the evening or with artificial light, and it also has a little bit jelly-like texture. It's streaky in one coat, but the brush is quite big, so it's not a problem. I usually use two coats of this one, leaving it slightly sheer, but I can't see my nail line.. Though my nails a pretty short, so it's rarely a problem to me, only with sheer light polishes. Maybe some of you would use the third coat, but I like the way it looks with two - bloody goodness, nice and vampy.

This is probably one of my favorite polishes, it's also cheap and lasts for 3-4 days at least (then I usually change my nail color).

I'll definitely going to wear it in autumn and winter, and probably would buy some backup bottle, if I won't find something better. I hope to order a new bunch of polishes soon, including some dark reds, so we'll see. :D

Rimmel Urban Purple

I guess I'll start by showing some polishes I like, or, at least, those which are worth photographing :D

This pretty pinkish red polish is by Rimmel, from their Lycra Pro series. The color is a little different in the bottle, it doesn't seem purple to me, it's more pink and raspberry, leaning towards red, but not too bright and vivid (as China Glaze Ahoy! is).

Rimmel Lycra Pro polishes have a nice wide brush that reminds me of OPI's (as it's also flat and quite wide), so it allows you to apply it almost mistake-free, even if you have little experience with painting your nails. The formula is also good, I usually use 1-2 coats for full coverage.

Here I spiced it up a little with INM Out The Door Northern Lights top coat, the golden one, which has tiny holographic golden sparkles. Nice, isn't it?

Hi there!

Hey, everyone! My name is Kate, and I've decided to start a blog dedicated to all kinds of make-up, but especially about nail polish, as I'm kind of a fan :D

I became interested in colored nails not so long time ago, but my collection of polishes is growing, and I don't want to stop, as this little passion makes me feel good, and it's fun!

I'd try my best and tell you a little about products I've tried, especially if I like them. I'd also post some personal things or photographs to add something else amongst the beauty stuff. I'm not trying to become a famous beauty blogger, it's just an enjoyable hobby for me, but, of course, I hope you'll find my ramblings useful for yourself in any way. Also, feel free to add me as a friend and share your opinion, I'd be happy to hear what you think.
